West Midlands Fire Service Consultation 2023

Please see the below received from West Midlands Fire Service

We (West Midlands Fire Service) are delighted to announce the release of our brand new public consultation!

Three years ago, we asked you for your views and opinions on the work that we do. This helps us shape our priorities within our Community Risk Management Plan. Now, it’s time for us to consult again.

In 2020, 11,000 people responded. This year, we’re aiming higher!

Consultation will run from 3rd July 2023 for 10 weeks, until 11th September. We’re looking to gain feedback, views, and opinions from as many people who live and work in the West Midlands as possible.

Clicking this link will take you to our consultation landing page. There, you will be given the option to select a survey, depending on if you are answering as a member of the community within the West Midlands, one of our partner organisations, or a current or former member of West Midlands Fire Service staff.

The survey shouldn’t take any longer than 10 minutes to complete, and we’d love to hear from you. You have the opportunity to shape your fire service and help your communities.

Thank you!

West Midlands Combined Authority – Deeper Devolution – Opportunity To Give Your views

Deeper Devolution

The West Midlands Combined Authority is working to build a better-connected, more prosperous, fairer, greener and healthier West Midlands.

As we grow and develop our region it is essential we have the right powers and funding to do so. At this year’s Spring Budget, the government agreed a deeper devolution deal with the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) and the seven metropolitan councils.

The deeper devolution deal puts more cash and functions in the hands of local leaders to invest in the priorities that local communities truly care about, such as better bus and train services, skills and housing.

As we set out on the journey of delivering deeper devolution, we want to ensure your thoughts, concerns and priorities are listened to.

How can I give my views?

You can find out more information and complete the questionnaire at
https://wmcadevolutionhaveyoursay.commonplace.is

Alternatively, you can attend a virtual online webinar. Details are included in the website detailed above.

We’d be grateful if you could share this with anyone in your networks that you think would be interested in taking part in the survey.

Please give your views by 11.59pm on 19 August 2023.
